Damien:
The module ‘Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten in der Agrar- und Ernährungswirtschaft’ taught by Prof. Fischer-Kreer provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of writing a bachelor’s thesis: from structured literature research and the use of citation software to clear guidelines for text design. A highly dedicated team accompanies the process with passion and quick, constructive feedback. Getting started requires immediate initiative: the first steps are determined by the students themselves – a productive challenge. The tightly scheduled format makes it challenging to quickly internalise the concepts and advance one's own research at the same time, but at the same time sharpens time and project management skills for scientific work. Creative, target group-oriented final presentations provide a coherent conclusion and increase motivation to learn.
