I think sustainable entrepreneurship is the most important incubator for implementing meaningful ideas that are essential for positive social and environmental change. Building on my professional background as a psychologist and my experience in the consulting industry, I am committed to empowering entrepreneurs to make their businesses resilient and sustainably successful.

I am particularly interested in the following topics:

Resilience in Entrepreneurship
Causes and effects of the ability to recover from setbacks; spillover effects of resilience on organizations

Sustainable Entrepreneurship
Sustainable start-ups; challenges and successful coping in sustainable entrepreneurship; storytelling by sustainable entrepreneurs; passion in pursuing sustainable goals

Workplace Culture
A culture of error that promotes learning from mistakes and ‘failing forward’; leadership that focuses on and promotes mental health; the role of networks

Openness to New Technologies
Effective use of (Gen) AI-based technologies; breaking down (mental) barriers to the introduction of new technologies

Academic Education
Kristin completed her Master of Science in Psychology at Heidelberg University. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Work and Organisational Psychology) at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. She spent a semester abroad at the University of Melbourne. During her studies, Kristin was a scholarship holder at the German National Academic Foundation. Since April 2024, she has been pursuing her doctorate at the Chair of Entrepreneurial Behaviour.

Professional Milestones
During her studies, Kristin completed various internships in the consulting industry, particularly in human resources and IT consulting. She also worked as a research assistant in the field of neuropsychology and on a project on dilemma competence among hospital managers. After working as a learning consultant and Scrum Master at an IT consulting firm in Munich, she joined an international management consultancy in Düsseldorf in 2021.
